We booked four rooms for our family, and they were all tiny, smelled awful, and had small windows that made them feel like jail cells. The hotel was old and dirty, nothing like the website pictures. The staff weren't welcoming, and breakfast was bad. I won't make that mistake again. I'd rather sleep on the street than stay at Bade hotel.

The room was full of cigarette smell, had no window, and the AC didn't work. Stains from cigarettes were on the walls and furniture, and the spring bed felt nearly wrecked, with lots of broken springs. There were no curtains on the windows, so the brightness made it hard to fall asleep. The walls were paper-thin: I heard the neighbor's angry phone call until 3AM and could hear the elevator coming up. When I asked for a non-smoking room, the manager wanted 2X extra. He was rude from the start and barely acknowledged me when I arrived. On top of that, he wanted 30TRY to hold my bag for an hour when I was leaving. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, out of more than 50. Avoid it at all costs, even if it's 50TRY.

The staff were okay, but the rooms were worse than any I've had in hundreds of budget hotels across India, nepal, thailand, taiwan, vietnam, and turkey, including places costing one tenth as much. The beds are sunken and unbearable, and my back WILL hurt if you can even manage to sleep on one. Hallway light comes through a window facing the corridor, so the room is ALWAYS bright. If light bothers you, bring a mask. The walls aren't concrete, and you can hear everything through that window: a neighbor's TV, phone calls, even intimate activity. The shower was awful, with a broken shower head or water pressure, and the sheets had stains. There were lots of other small issues I didn't care much about, but you might. Even with no neighbors, the lobby employees chatting downstairs are clearly audible. Staying here is truly suffering. I can't believe they rent these rooms out, and the owner should be ashamed of the property.

I've been to more than 60 countries, and never seen a hotel this shocking. Disgusting, honestly. There are no words.

Dujan at reception deserves special thanks. Sorry if I've misspelled his name. He was very helpful and found a solution that worked for our situation.
