Beşiktaş Vip İnn Hotel & Suites

Inside, the conditions were far below what I expected. There was construction or renovation going on, the rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and I found hair beneath the sheets. Smoking is allowed in the rooms, so there was a constant cigarette smell. Some bathroom parts were broken, and electrical cables were exposed. In my room, though, the AC worked very well. Getting around was easy because metro and bus stations are right nearby. The advertised underground parking is being used as a car wash, so cars are left outside instead. I actually preferred parking in front of the hotel, but that’s down to personal preference. My 5-star rating was for the Beşiktaş location only.

The price is very good for what you get. It’s a new, clean place, and the staff are kind and ready to help with anything, from ordering food to answering questions.

The bed was really good and comfortable, and there was water and tea in the room. The price and location were pluses. But the place is noisy, there’s a smell of smoke, and there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. The repair work looks new but was done awfully, and the lift is slow.

The staff deserve thanks for their service, and I’m glad I picked this hotel for my 15-day holiday in Istanbul. It was elegant and comfortable, with a great location that was easy to reach. I’d recommend it, and if I return, I won’t need to look elsewhere for a hotel.
