Beyhan Hotel

They let me in in the middle of the night and made me feel really welcome. The room was simple, but good quality for the price. I’d recommend it.

We’re staying here now. It’s a small hotel, but clean, and the beds definitely didn’t have bedbugs. I checked twice, in several rooms. Room service was fine too. It’s close to the Grand Bazaar, with plenty of leather shoes, clothes and textiles to shop for nearby. The area is hilly, so expect to walk up and down if needed. They serve continental breakfast. It’s definitely not 5 stars, but for the price and value, 4 stars seems fair. I think the previous one-star reviews were fake. Just look at the “contributions” of the people who left them.

The rooms were miserable and very dirty. The sheets had menstrual blood stains, and there was something sticky on the floor near my bed. The bathroom was filthy and smelled like mold, and the toilet was dirty too. Every room seemed to be for smoking. I even found cigarettes under the bed. When I asked for a non-smoking room, they said, “we dont have non smoking rooms...move to another hotel”. I asked reception to clean my room 4 times. After an hour they sent a man who laughed at me and said, “you have shampoo you should clean the room by yourself”. I was completely shocked. The night shift receptionist was very arrogant and mean, and treated us with ZERO respect. Staff also didn’t know how to speak English, which is unacceptable. The hotel was full of noisy arabs making noise at all hours, so I couldn’t rest. Breakfast was poor, the restaurant area smelled horrible, and the wireless wasn’t working well. Shame on you, Beyhan Hotel!

I had a wonderful experience here. The hotel was clean, the hospitality outstanding, and everyone was very generous. It’s the best hotel in İstanbul so far for me, and I highly recommend it.
