Mr Ahmed was a great boss, and I was fortunate that my senior brother, Mr Fevzi, introduced us. He welcomed me warmly and made me tea. If you're lucky, Mr Ahmed, the manager and boss, may greet you too. The hotel is in Kasimpasa, across from the ferry pier, with a walk to Sishane, the nearest Metro station. It's in the city centre but away from the tourist area, so the neighborhood is quiet at night. There are plenty of nearby restaurants with affordable food, plus a supermarket right next door. Football fans can walk about 10 minutes to Kasimpasa FC's Recip Eyup Erdogan Stadium, though the route climbs a steep hill. My room was basic, clean, and suited to the price. It had a single bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, and a working toilet, along with good air conditioning and heating. It was enough space for one person. I mainly needed somewhere to rest and sleep while in Istanbul, and it did the job. The reception guy spoke English very well. There was also a small lobby with a vending machine selling drinks cheaper than outside. It's a good, inexpensive hotel for a stay.

The hotel is quite affordable, and the staff were cheerful and attentive. My room was clean, and the rates seemed lower than at other hotels in the area. The location was also pretty good, with subway, bus, and ferry stops nearby. Thanks for reading about my one-night stay at Beyoğlu Huzur Hotel.

The rooms were calm and absolutely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was good. I only booked because flight plans meant I needed an extra night in Istanbul, and I wanted somewhere downtown with a bit of fun instead of a fancy hotel. It happened to be the cheapest option when I booked, and the stay was surprisingly good for the price. The neighborhood isn't a tourist hotspot, but everything is still close. I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget who still wants a hotel in the center.

Ulkan and Mahmud were excellent to deal with. They speak good English, answered my questions, and even arranged a reasonably priced airport transfer. For a budget stay after sightseeing, this place works well: the room was clean, had good facilities, and felt worth the price. The location is decent, with Shishane Metro a short walk away. I preferred the M1 tram, though getting to Karakoy tram station means a hilly walk past Galata Tower. The ferry station is also a short walk, handy if you're planning to visit the Chora. The area feels working-class, with few tourists, but shops nearby always had people around and I never felt unsafe, even at night.

It's a small, clean hotel with friendly staff and the basics, at a reasonable price. The area isn't very touristy, and places like Hagia Sophie and the Blue Mosque are about 5 km away. Walking to them is pleasant, though public transport is an option too.
