Daymonth Hotel

Someone seemed to be smoking inside the building, and the smell came through every now and then. The room and bathroom were acceptable, with condiments available. It’s okay for one night, but fine at best.

We had to clean the toilet ourselves before we could bring ourselves to use it. The rooms were very dirty, and the sheets were so bad we couldn’t imagine sleeping on them or using the shower. They offered no services, so we even had to buy our own water and tea bags. The location wasn’t good either, and we were always stuck in traffic. They quoted us one price, then doubled it when we were leaving. If you’re thinking of staying here, do yourself a favor and don’t. In my experience, they’ll definitely scam foreigners.

The location isn’t good, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’d agreed on a price over the phone, but when I arrived they asked for another 10% tax. I refused, since that should have been made clear during the call. Asking for it separately was very unprofessional.

We weren’t satisfied. The rooms were so small we kept bumping into things, and there was a lot of noise from other rooms. The tap was broken too. Poor value for money.
