Dragos Island Hotel

A quiet place to rest, with a sea view towards the islands and a local feel. I didn't see or hear any other tourists. In the morning, you can hear roosters and pigeons. The hotel restaurant wasn't available.

On 01.03.25 we were put in room 313, which reeked of cigarettes. We opened the balcony door to air it out and went for a walk. When we came back, the door was closed, so hotel staff must have entered while we were away. Then we found out there was no water in the hotel. We were told to wait until morning, with no way to shower, use the toilet, or even wash our hands. We left for another hotel, but they refused to refund us. The rooms are old and dirty, with a cigarette smell. The sink tap was broken, the hairdryer didn't work, and the staff were rude and unable to solve anything. This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at in Istanbul. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had reserved the hotel for 10 days, but were disappointed when we arrived. Breakfast was the same every day, with no juice or good food to choose from in the morning. The worst part came near the end of our stay: while we were out, some of our things were stolen from our shopping bags. We reported it to the manager, but they showed no concern and never even came back to say sorry. We lost a lot. Not recommended at all.

The place is surrounded by nature and has good WiFi and a nice outdoor pool. The rooms are big, and the toilets are spacious and clean, though the water is salty. The reception entrance looks nice, but nobody helped with my bags. The restaurant has a very nice view, but the food is medium quality, the service is below average, and it closes before midnight. The furniture and interior design in the rooms are very bad, and the air conditioning isn't great. It's not cozy, and it's far, far from the city center. That distance was the worst part.
