Elite Marmara Residence

The most memorable part was the man at reception who welcomed us and helped throughout our stay. He was warm and friendly, offered useful information, and helped sort out all our questions. We don't know his name, but saw him on the mornings of 9, 10, and 11 October 2024. The people in Turkey are wonderful. We had two rooms: one was good, the other less so, and both could use repairs. Breakfast was modest, though fresh, and the tea was very tasty. Thanks, and good luck as the hotel grows!

I'm really glad I stayed at this hotel.

This was a very disappointing and seemingly unsanitary stay. There were obvious hygiene problems, including cockroaches. The manager wasn't available, and we couldn't get a refund, which made things even worse.

At the price, the stay might be acceptable apart from the hygiene, which has no excuse. We paid 320 YTL for two adults and a 2-year-old to stay two nights with breakfast. Prices at the hotel were lower than those offered through booking. Speaking English with staff was difficult, so if you don't know Turkish, staying here could be an adventure. Our room wasn't very clean, with dust in the corners. The shower was damaged and washing my hair was so awkward I had to kneel. Noise from the restaurant on the top floor continued until midnight and made resting impossible. Street noise came through the window whether it was open or shut, so we could hear everything happening outside.
