I can get to every kind of public transport within a 5-7 minute walk, which makes this spot really convenient. Strong winds sometimes come through at night and interrupt my sleep, though I’ve got used to it over time. I sometimes need to stay for a month because of work, and despite crossing over every day, this is still my first choice on this side of the city. The location, accessibility and amenities are why I keep prioritizing it.
It’s a very clean, respectable place. I visited as a guest and saw how strict the entry checks are. They always take your ID details when you arrive. If you don’t have identification, the person in the apartment has to come down and collect you. Without that, they simply won’t let you in. I think that’s very good for security, and it’s one of the few residences I’ve personally seen with this level of control.
We pay 28,000 TL in rent, then at least another 10,000 TL in maintenance fees. The hot and cold water bills are listed separately, and the minimum total is 10,000 TL. As of January 2026, the monthly maintenance fee went up 45% to 8141 TL. I’ve lived here about a year and seen four or five different site management teams at different locations, but none have been as terrible as this one.
It’s a residence on Istanbul’s Asian side, though a bit of a distance from the metro station.
Residents don’t seem to care much either, sadly. I regret buying a home here, and it’s frightening to keep paying a management that asks for budgets this large. They message us about fees and fixtures almost every day, yet I don’t see the same enthusiasm for actually providing services. Maintenance fees rose 45%, fixtures cost tens of thousands of liras, and we’re lucky if the windows get cleaned once a year :) The terraces are very dirty, and the social facilities need maintenance.
