Elite World Comfy İstanbul Taksim Hotel

We had comfortable, spacious rooms and liked the lobby's luxurious decor. The hotel is also close to small shops and restaurants, which suited us as tourists. The staff were respectful and accommodating. Breakfast was decent, though the food selection could be a little better. Some things could use maintenance: our shower head leaked and sprayed a bit of water onto the toilet while we showered. Otherwise, no complaints.

The room situation made it hard to feel comfortable: it was tiny and right by the lift, so every sound carried both ways and there was no privacy. The hallway and area outside also smelled very bad. Even after housekeeping, the room still looked unclean, and the sheets were never changed during my stay. When I asked for a late checkout, they first said no, then agreed after I insisted and offered to pay. The charge was an outrageous $13 per hour. The management felt poor, the staff behavior was rude and unprofessional, and the whole experience was deeply disrespectful. This was easily the worst hotel stay I’ve had, and I’d tell people to avoid it because it could ruin a trip.

Thanks to the Elite world comfy team for looking after our group. Serhat handled our luggage at arrival and departure, even at awkward hours, from as early as 1 am through midday, and did a fantastic job. At f&b, Zafer served us cocktails and finger food and stayed patient throughout. Ruya Su at reception was wonderful, answering all the questions from our American visitors. Great service from everyone.

I was in Istanbul for a layover last February and stayed at the Elite World Comfy in Taksim. The staff were attentive and professional, and I felt well looked after. My room was spotless and elegant, with a feel that reflected Istanbul. The service, cleanliness, and general atmosphere were all top-notch. It ended up being one of my best hotel experiences in the city, and I’d happily recommend it.
