The only small issue was finding the hotel, since the name on its banner is in Turkish. Look for the one with “34” in the name. Once there, I found the double economy room modern, spacious, clean, and equipped with a big bathroom. The staff were lovely, the prices were cheap, and with a location like this, it would be hard to find somewhere better.
Sultanahmet station is only two minutes away, right in the middle of the city. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to handle requests. A good budget choice that I'd recommend.
The bed was comfortable, and my room had a queen bed and its own bathroom. It wasn't especially noisy when I stayed in February 2015. It's a decent option if all you need is somewhere to sleep and shower.
In pricey Istanbul, this low-budget place gives you a roof over your head and somewhere to sleep. It's a basic hotel, with no refrigerator in the room, no breakfast, and no free water.
I stayed in both the hotel and hostel parts, and had a great time. The location is the best part, just a 3 or 4 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, and the staff were friendly.
