The place smelled so strongly of old cigarette smoke that even the bus station seemed fresher. It was filthy everywhere, with no basic things like a trash can, and looked nothing like the made-up photos online. This hotel is a straight-up scam. I'd tell anyone thinking of staying here to avoid it and save themselves the trauma. The bus station might be cleaner.

Evin Suites has become my go-to whenever I visit Istanbul, which is two or three times a year. It feels like home, and the managers and staff are genuinely helpful. The location is very good too. I highly recommend it.

The staff were funny and wonderful, and made me feel at home. The hotel itself was spotless and tidy. I'd happily recommend it, five stars.

Don't trust them or stay here. The staff were rude, and the place was filthy, with bed bugs in the beds. They yelled at us and threatened to call the police and throw our belongings outside. They cheat and lie, using all sorts of tricks to get more money.

There's a lot you can get nearby, and the location makes things easy. It's just a five-minute walk to the metro, which can take you everywhere, and Taksim is a 15-minute walk away. The staff are really kind and always offer free coffee and Turkish chay.
