I always choose apartments when I travel, and found G Suites Airport on my visit to istanbul. It’s close to the airport, easy to find, and near the main road. The reception welcome was excellent and the staff were helpful. My suite was clean, very good, and a good size. The swimming pool and sauna were superb. I recommend these suites to everybody.

We stayed for just one night, and it was a horrible experience. The room smelled of smoke, and three men knocked on the door at 1.30 am for 15 mins. We were really scared. There were no taxis available for the airport, though luckily we had booked one. The location was horrible too, and the place didn’t look like the pictures.

The rest of the stay was fine, but there was no air conditioning in any of the rooms, only heating for winter. When I asked the manager about AC, he suggested opening the window, which meant dealing with lots of mosquitoes.

Getting around by public transport from here wasn't easy, and the noise was constant from cars, planes, and people. On the plus side, it felt safe and was close to the airport and Metro hypermarket.

The breakfast is served at a small restaurant outside, where the staff speak Turkish, so communication may be difficult. The rooms were nice, but reception is very small.
