Garlon Residence Apartments

The staff were kind and quick to help whenever we needed something, and the place was clean, spacious, and comfortable for the whole family. Everything we needed was close by, which made the location really convenient. We stayed about two months ago and had a great time. We felt comfortable throughout, and I’d definitely choose it again if I’m back in the area. Highly recommended.

The $100 USD damage deposit per person was paid in cash, and I had no trouble getting it back since everything was in perfect condition when I left. The apartment was a great place to unwind, with cozy, balanced lighting. I stayed in the GR1 garden apartment, which was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, just like the photos. I didn’t hear any noise or construction, unlike maybe in other blocks. There was security at the entrance, so only guests could get in, which felt safe. Daily cleaning was provided, and the apartment had an iron, washing machine, dishwasher, and amenities. The location was a highlight, a 9-minute walk from Taksim Square and the same distance from the Sabiha Gökçen airport buses and the metro. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in Istanbul. A few little things would make it better: there was no wine opener in the kitchen, and it’d be nice to have washing powder and dish soap or tabs for the washing machine and dishwasher. A coffee machine or even a Turkish cezve would be a welcome extra, though there’s a lovely coffee spot just around the corner.

The apartment is clean and well furnished, and everything is in new condition. It’s just the apartment and towels, though. There are no supplies at all, no laundry detergent or clothes detergent, shampoo, or tissues. The bus is only a few steps away, the metro is around 400 steps on foot, and Istiklal main street is very near too. I’ve been to istanbul around 40 times. For the price of a very small hotel room, I think this is the best choice I’ve made for a small apartment. From now on, I won’t book anywhere else.

Osman was the only good part of our stay. He was professional and genuinely helpful throughout. The apartment was extremely noisy, housekeeping was poor, and the place didn’t match the description. We were promised sofa beds, but they weren’t there, so we had no proper sleeping arrangements. At checkout, Marwan damaged my sister’s brand-new Guess luggage and denied responsibility. Guest Relations first promised to sort it out, but we never got a response or compensation. The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
