Germir Palas Hotel - Special Class

We stayed on the 6th floor and enjoyed a nice view of the square and Bosfor. The rooms aren't very big, but they're cozy and clean. Breakfast was good and filling, and the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Havaist bus stop, which is handy for airport trips. Everything was perfect, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely stay!

For the price, there are much better options in Istanbul. This was a very poor experience and didn't feel worth the money. The hotel calls itself a four-star property, but the facilities and service didn't meet that standard. It felt extremely outdated, and my room was very dark with a strong smoke smell. The so-called double bed was two small beds pushed together, with an uncomfortable gap between them, and even the quilt was a single-size blanket. They didn't provide bottled water. Everything felt very low-end and disappointing.

Breakfast was very nice, the coffee was outstanding, and the staff kept everything clean and restocked. The front desk team were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean too. The hotel is beautiful, from the ground floor through to the rooms, and it sits in an excellent sightseeing location with plenty of restaurants around. My only complaint is that I couldn't control the room temperature, and it was too warm for me.

This classic hotel in Taksim Square was just right for my business stay in Istanbul. The staff were warm and friendly, especially Erdal and Yetkim, and made the visit more comfortable. I hope to come back soon.
