The room wasn't very clean. There were dirty surfaces around the coffee area, plus a couple of ants and flies. Mine faced the Main Street, so early morning noise made it hard to sleep past 6:30am. On the second night, a loud mechanical buzzing in the hallway kept repeating all night. It wasn't relaxing at all. I chose Glens Palas hotel for a five-day business trip because I believed it had a rooftop restaurant and a gym. The rooftop was advertised on several platforms, including Google and hotels.com, with promotional photos, but it has been closed for several years and doesn't exist as an available amenity. The gym was very basic, in a warm basement where the air conditioning struggled, so I couldn't work out there. Both amenities were key to my trip and my reasons for booking. Once I realized this after checking in, I asked to cancel the remaining four days so I could change hotels. They refused. I then asked if they could move me from the small room to at least a balcony room, given that the rooftop wasn't available. They refused that too, showed no apology, and were frankly rude. I wouldn't stay here again, and this negatively affected my visit in many ways.

The service was quick and nice, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was just what I'd imagined, and those were the best scrambled eggs I've had in istanbul. Just a heads-up, the croissants are huge, but really tasty!

The room and service were acceptable, and if Harbiye, Sisli suits you, this could be a good option. It's near shops, restaurants, and bars, but there's no subway station close by. The hotel deserves 5 stars, though it's best to avoid rush hour in the area.

For my first trip to Istanbul, picking this hotel in Nişantaşı was the right call. It's in a very convenient spot, surrounded by great places, and the staff took care of us with attention to every detail. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay. I'm especially grateful to Front Office Manager Ersin Goktepe for his professionalism, kindness, and wonderful hospitality. I'll definitely visit again and recommend the hotel.

The Bosphorus view from our room was stunning. Waking up to that scenery every morning made the stay memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, and the hotel's atmosphere fit the upscale feel of the Nişantaşı neighborhood. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if you value a great view and attentive service.
