A good hotel.

We picked this place for its nice location while attending the Tüyap fair, and regret it. The room hygiene was awful: the walls and cupboards had visible stains, there were huge brown marks on the bed, and the toilet in Room 52 had a persistent urine smell, almost like it had been there for ages. Communication with the person we paid was difficult throughout. We asked for water and it never arrived. The bidet was broken; when we followed up that evening, a day later, we were met with, “WHAT EXACTLY WAS YOUR PROBLEM?” The Wi-Fi also wasn’t working. They first said they’d fix it the next day, then told us they’d come in two days when we asked again, even though we were checking out the following day. There was noise in the corridors at 2 AM, with other rooms clearly occupied, and at 4 AM we woke to the guests’ private noises. The whole stay was a fiasco.

DON’T GO. I left just 10 minutes after arriving for a one-night stay, even though I’ve given this high star rating so the comments will show up first. The rooms were filthy, with hair, dust and dirt everywhere. The air conditioner was no good, and it wasn’t clear who was coming and going. There was a disgusting smell in the rooms, especially the toilet. The sheets and sofas were bad too, and opening the minibar door brought a foul smell. Everything was old and stained. A complete disgrace!

I stayed three nights and things were fine. Thanks to everyone, especially Cesur Bey for being so attentive. The only issue was black spots between the bathroom grout lines; if those are cleaned up, I can’t think of any other problem. I’d recommend it to anyone.
