Grand Uskudar Hotel

Room 503 was small for three, but tidy. The window wasn't well insulated, so traffic noise came through, though it wasn't unbearable. It's clean, the staff are amazing, and the rooftop is a hidden gem since it's open 24/7. If you're working or staying less than five days, it's a good choice and was a good experience for me.

We stayed five days and were pleased with the hotel. The staff were friendly and very attentive, and I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location worked well for us, close to Altunizade Metro on the M5 line, with Capitol shopping centre a short walk away for shops and chain eateries. The top-floor terrace is a lovely place to unwind, have the complimentary Turkish tea, meet other guests, and enjoy the views. But if your room is on the floor below, you hear every chair scrape across the hard floor, at any hour. Recommended!

What matters most to me here is the sense of security, comfort, and family atmosphere, things you feel even if they aren't visible. The place is quiet and clean, the rooms are tidy, and the staff are friendly and respectful. They care about your comfort and health and take care of your needs. Mr. Gökalp was so kind from the moment I arrived that I felt I already knew him, not like a stranger. He has a kind heart. Mrs. şukran made me delicious coffee; she's a kind lady whose warmth feels like a mother's, and she has a charming smile. I recommend this hotel, and it deserves a high rating. Those things matter more than luxurious modern buildings and fancy things.

Everyone has their own experience, but I can't fault this beautiful hotel. It's super, super clean, with rooms cleaned regularly, and the friendly staff make you feel welcome. They take care of anything you need straight away. Breakfast was lovely, and shops are nearby, about a 10-minute walk, along with bakeries and food shops.
