Gravis Suites

This was my second visit, and I love the location just off İstiklal, the big balcony, and the spacious shower room. Club noise didn’t bother me, and I’d recommend the hotel to everyone. A special thanks to Ali at reception, who was always smiling and ready to help. The manager was great too, and the girl at reception was so friendly and helpful. You guys rock. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and even though the hotel is close to busy streets and traffic, they were soundproof. The staff were hospitable and kind, and their English was sufficient. For this price range, the quality is very good. My only complaint is that the room carpet needs cleaning.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly, and always helpful. The room was clean, and the hotel’s theme was something I really liked. It’s a great base for sightseeing in Istanbul, with the city right at your feet. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

I was unhappy with the view from my hotel window. It was disgusting, and nobody warned me it would be that bad. The photos on Expedia and google maps showed an Istanbul street, which wasn’t what I saw. I attached pictures of the view. The listings also said the hotel had a sauna and steam room, but when I asked to use them, the concierge said they no longer had those facilities. Nightclubs surround the hotel, and I could hear their very loud music and bass from my room every night. I asked the concierge for another room and was told mine was the best. I did look at a room facing the front of the hotel, but the music was even louder there.
