Holiday Inn Istanbul City by IHG

Mr. Fahri made a real difference during my stay. He was kind, respectful, patient, and always willing to help, and his genuine care for guests was clear. He represents the hotel wonderfully. The whole team provided excellent service, hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Holiday Inn Istanbul City was clean, comfortable, and well managed, with spacious, quiet, well-kept rooms that were relaxing after a long day out. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Many thanks to Mr. Fahri and the team for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for 16 days and had a very nice experience. The location is great, with the metro stop right outside. Our room was fairly large and had a good workspace, though street noise came through because it’s on a busy road. The restaurant was adequate and the staff attentive.

Mr. Fahri at the front desk deserves a special mention. He’s always kind, helpful, and professional, and he makes each visit easier and more pleasant. That warm, professional atmosphere reflects well on the hotel and its management. I’ve stayed here many times, and it’s been a great experience every time. The rooms, facilities, and shared spaces are excellent, and the location is amazing. As a longtime IHG customer, this is one of the best Holiday Inn stays I’ve had. A real gem among IHG properties. Highly recommended.

The room was dirty, and after we found bugs, we asked for a deep clean. Nothing was cleaned. We also asked them to remove the wine from the room, but it stayed there. The room had very poor sound insulation. I could hear people walking around nearby. The door card was a constant hassle too: it didn’t work properly, and every time we wanted to get in, we had to ask reception to charge it. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’d give it less than one star if I could.
