The hotel matched what I’d seen, and actually turned out even better than I expected. It feels like a luxury boutique hotel without the luxury price. The spa was the best surprise, with a full menu. I chose a Hamam bath and a Bali massage. SURI is a Bali woman with a lovely manner and magical hands. Thank you, Suri! Such a terrific experience.

Our room was clean and quiet, and the price and amenities were good. It gets daylight, though there’s no view: the window faces a building facade just six meters away. The fast train and Marmaray tunnel train station are both very close.

The location wasn’t ideal for us, since I needed to stay near our dentist in Kadikoy. I was with my mum, who uses a wheelchair and has dementia, and Sabina went out of her way to help us find somewhere more suitable for her. I was stressed, and she called me over to reception and helped me in person, including speaking Turkish with me and sorting out some food ordering issues. I can’t praise her customer service enough. Manager Eser was also polite, caring, and welcoming when we checked in. Five stars plus for the people and their amazing help. Thank you, GOD BLESS YOU!

A simple, comfortable room at a good price, with helpful staff throughout. It’s a great base for getting around, with places to see and public transport close by. The room was clean and no-nonsense. I was glad to find there’s a spa, and hope to try it next time when I have more time.

We had a fantastic spa day at the Holiday Inn. I asked Tru on WhatsApp about booking and prices, and got the details straight away, including the available discount. The information was precise and professional, and they even messaged us to make sure we could find the place, though we had already located it. At reception, the woman asked when and how we wanted to pay. We began with the saunas, then Lia and Putri took us through the couples package: hamman, scrub, and mask. After time to relax, they gave us an amazing 80-minute massage, carefully tailored to what we needed. It was one of the best massages I’ve had. I really want to thank them, and would suggest asking for these wonderful people.
