The room had no window and felt stuffy. It was quite hot, but we weren't allowed to turn on the AC, which made it very uncomfortable. Although smoking wasn't allowed, the hallway outside smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Drinking water, which the website said would be provided, was missing, and there was no blanket until we asked for one. The receptionist was very unfriendly. We booked online, then were told the price we paid was “too cheap.” The hotel sets its own prices on the booking platform, so how is that our fault? I'm leaving this feedback for the owner in the hope things improve. It may be worth hiring more competent staff.

At The Celestial Bosphorus, the service anticipates your needs, and the dining is world-class. The rooms look out over the Istanbul skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows, with sunrises turning it gold and rose and city lights reflected on the water at dusk. Inside, marble floors and soft Ottoman-inspired textiles sit alongside the lingering scent of jasmine. It feels peaceful, with modern luxury and timeless elegance. A Turkish coffee at dawn, or an evening by the water, makes each moment feel like poetry.
Clean laundry, a quiet space, and free tea at reception whenever you want it. The staff are kind, respectful, and good. For the price, this hotel is safe and decent, and the best value for money I’ve found so far.
The entrance looks like a dump, and inside there was trash everywhere, filth, and broken things. I booked a family room but was given something that barely qualifies as a room. It was tiny and had no windows. There’s no elevator, and the stairs are dangerously steep. The staff were rude and completely unprofessional. The worst hotel ever, with not one good thing to say. It doesn’t deserve even a dollar. There are much better places, so avoid it at all costs.
The room was coffin-sized, with no windows, and the hotel hadn’t made that clear in the description, so I wasn’t prepared for it. The shower, toilet, and door handle were broken. They promised to send a technician, but nothing changed during our five-day stay. We were given one towel for two people, and repeated requests for another were ignored. The room was never cleaned and the garbage wasn’t taken out. There was mold in the shower, and cigarette smoke constantly stank up the floor, making it impossible to sleep. The walls were so thin we could hear everything our neighbors did, day and night. This was the most horrible hotel experience of my life. I think staying here is dangerous for life and health. I’ll add some photos to confirm what I’ve said.
