The owner was freaking awesome! The rooms have just the basics, but you get what you pay for. It's easy to get around on foot, with lots of shops and the sea nearby. I loved Uskudar.

We couldn't relax at night because there was so much noise in the rooms, and you could hear everything. A constant water sound came from the drainpipe. The place is in the middle of a hill, so the map makes it look closer than it really feels. The hairdryer in our room was switched on, and we thought it might explode. No breakfast, no water in the rooms, and no slippers. Those omissions are ridiculous, and the missing slippers are a huge drawback. We came because of the high ratings, but the stay didn't match them at all. Either the reviews are fake or the business has changed owners.
