They arranged a private pickup and drop-off from Istanbul airport for €55 each way. Hemit at reception was polite and supportive, and I appreciated that they let me check in early and check out late. Staying at Gul Sultan Hotel turned out to be a very good decision.

I had no problems during my stay. The staff were kind, and the room met my needs with a clean space, comfortable bed, and a good bathroom with hot water. Many of Istanbul's main tourist spots are walkable, and public transit is easy to reach.

The location is handy for tourist attractions. The owner was always smiling and very friendly. My room was neat, the restroom was clean, and the hot water and heater both worked well. Everything was perfect.

There was some noise at night, the one downside for me. Apart from that, the hotel was clean and comfortable and good value for the money. It's very close to the main sights in Sultanahmet, and the guys at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful.

It's a small place, but the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, though a little noisy, and the bathroom was good. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator. Breakfast wasn't offered. It'd be nice if the terrace were in better shape so guests could enjoy the view.
