Guldehan Hotel

The rooms were spotless and felt like home, and the Wi-Fi was 5G with very good speed. I’ve stayed at plenty of four and five-star hotels in Turkey, but this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Mr Bayram was exceptionally friendly, kind, and spoke excellent English. He even helped carry my bags to the airport transport at the end of our stay. The price makes it the best option in the Taksim area, in my view. I had such a good experience and will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The location made this stay for me, less than a 3-minute walk from Taksim Square and the main street full of shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs. A shopper’s dream. The famous tram, churches, and a mosque are nearby too. Staff spoke English and were really helpful, including with deciding what to see and how to get there. Our room was comfortable and clean. I had an amazing stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

The service was good, the staff were friendly, the room was cleaned often, and both the location and internet were good. Still, I wouldn’t stay again. The room cost $33 for one night, and the furniture felt very cheap. There was no chair or hangers, the room was tiny, and the walls were thin enough that I heard everything from the street and corridor at night, which made sleep difficult. The toilet was positioned so close to the sink that my feet touched it. Breakfast was just a snack, and the food was cheap and tasteless.
