Huzzak Tower

A very nice place to rent or buy a house.

It’s close to the metro, but security is very poor. They’re careless and lazy.

The site is having problems with basic services, especially electricity and natural gas, because Huzzak Construction and the other stakeholders haven’t reached an agreement. In winter, the power gets cut because of negligence. The gas is cut off because the bills haven’t been paid. Yet nobody will say, "It's our fault, we'll fix it." The apartments are really only suited to living in during summer. The windows are so drafty that you can air the place out without opening them. There’s no road leading to the site, and the social amenities aren’t running, with nobody seeming to care. The walls are thin, so sound travels easily. The one unusual perk is being able to wash your car under cover in the parking lot when it rains. Monthly fees for 2+1 apartments are 284 lira. Heating costs 25 kuruş per kilowatt, about 80% more than the IGDAŞ natural gas company rate. Even with an average heating bill of around 500 lira a month, you still need boots to keep from freezing indoors. Don’t trust real estate agents who promise things will improve in a few months. We’ve waited six months, and it gets worse every day. Hopefully, when the weather improves, we can get out of this mess. We fell into this trap, so stay away from us.

The parking area floods in the rain, and the gym still isn't usable because the contractor never built it. There’s also no occupancy permit, and I doubt one will come through for at least two or three years. Be careful with the layout too: some apartments have a master bathroom opening onto the hallway instead of the bedroom, with the bedroom only reachable through the living room. Any correction depends on the settlement. Living there has been a mess. The insulation is so poor that the place is freezing in winter, even with the heaters turned all the way up, and the floor stays icy. It’s an easy way for children to get sick. Hot water often doesn’t make it to the upper floors, and rain leaks through the windows in north-facing apartments because of bad installation and workmanship. The electricity kept going out, including one stretch of two days without power. Things only got worse, and nobody fixed the underlying problems. Management often can’t help because Huzzak doesn’t do what’s needed. Stay away from this complex and Huzzak, and don’t trust agents promising a quick fix. You won’t regret avoiding it.
