Inera Hotel Pendik

There were problems everywhere, and the price wasn’t justified. My room was dirty, the hallways were awful, and the wallpaper was bulging and disgusting. The shower was broken, and the phone was so toy-like it was useless. We had to go downstairs to reach reception. The staff there were disrespectful, noise went on all night, and people smoked in the non-smoking area. I don’t know how this hotel got four stars. It doesn’t deserve even one, and that rating is unfair to tourists and other hotels.

You could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room because the sound insulation was poor. The rooms also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the carpet had lots of cigarette burns. Cleanliness overall needs improvement.

Thieves, thieves. I went out to eat for an hour or two after the gentleman changed my room from a single to a double. He said I was only staying one night and that the other room smelled bad, then advised me to eat at a restaurant not far from the hotel. While I was out, someone entered my room and stole 800 euros from my hand luggage. I only noticed at the airport, when it was too late to return. I hadn’t had internet access until today. This happened July 24th, 2025.

The staff were always ready to help and give me tips for finding my way around the city. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, so the fact that the hotel doesn’t serve meals wasn’t a problem for me. I didn’t expect much from a regular hotel near an airport, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with luxurious rooms, cleanliness everywhere, and a lovely city view. Keep it up!
