Innpera Hotel

The Turkish bath, sauna, and steam room were a nice way to start the day. We stayed for 7 days, and I enjoyed it, with no complaints. Our room was a decent size, and staff were helpful whenever I needed something. The hotel and rooms are dated, but it's a great base for getting around. Nights can be noisy, which you'd expect in the heart of the square. Rooms were cleaned regularly. It's not a high-end hotel, but for what we paid, we had no complaints.

For a short trip, Innpera Hotel is a good choice if you want to be right in the city center. Taksim Square is only a few steps away, making it easy to get around Istanbul. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little small and somewhat dated. Staff were polite and helpful, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly. Breakfast was fine for a short stay, with a basic selection, but nothing special.

The Bosphorous suite cost a little more than a standard room, but the great view made it worth it. The hotel is perfectly placed in Taksim, within walking distance of Istiklal street. The rooms are a bit dated and could use renovation. There was loud music late at night, though it didn't bother us much since we stayed up late. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We asked for a late checkout, but the fee was quite high even for an extra 3 hours. They kindly let us wait at reception until our taxi arrived.

Staff entered our family room twice without asking or getting our permission. They used their key to open the door and come in. That is a breach of privacy and a crime. Their behavior was very bad, and they don't have manners when talking to guests. They even shout at elderly people. We don't recommend this hotel. The Google reviews are true: the hotel has a super bad smell, the washrooms are very bad, and the rooms are very dark. It looks as if they haven't renovated in the past 30 years. Technically, it's a 2 star hotel. They are criminals.
