The steep 500-meter slope up to the entrance was exhausting every time we walked it, and this stay spoiled part of my trip. The photos online showed lovely rooms, but ours was nothing like them, it was filthy and unhygienic. The bathroom was smelly, dirty, and never properly cleaned. They charged 20 euros for “cleaning,” yet the room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Things were broken, stained, or damaged, and the mattresses were so dirty I had an allergic reaction. The whole place felt neglected and disgusting. I honestly don’t understand how it got a license. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this. Avoid it, or you’ll regret spending your money, time, and health here.
The location made getting around easy, with metro and bus stops close by. I stayed for somewhere between about two weeks and a month and found it comfortable. The room was clean and had a kitchen, so cooking was easy, and the price was reasonable. A good option for a stay of a few weeks.
Thin walls meant I could hear the neighbors moving around and flushing toilets all night. The receptionist was outside our room at midnight, laughing and chatting with guests, so sleep was a struggle. Housekeeping was supposedly every four days, but we barely saw it. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper, and when they finally gave us something, it was two tiny hand towels. There were no sheets when we arrived, so they handed them over for us to make our own beds. The “kitchen” had a rusty stove that looked ready to explode, no kettle, cups, or glasses, only a few abandoned tea bags. The room had layers of dust, cracked filthy furniture, and dried paint stains. Calling this a hotel is an insult. If you want to pay to live in filth and beg for basics, this is the place. Otherwise, stay far away.
The room was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. Service was excellent, and the location near Kabatas metro made it easy to get around the city. I’d definitely come back.
I was meant to stay a few nights, but left after just one because I couldn’t take it. The rooms were dirty, old, and very dark, nothing like the pictures they show. The mold was awful, and I really don’t want to remember the experience. Avoid it if you don’t want a bad stay.
