JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea

Our family had two connecting rooms overlooking the sea, both with balconies. The staff everywhere, from valet and lobby to breakfast and room service, were consistently polite, and nobody asked us to leave a review. The hotel was very clean. My only small gripes were the slightly cramped toilet area and no self-serve coffee or tea at breakfast, though they made it quickly when we asked. The seaside path behind the hotel is beautiful, like a painting. The lobby also made a lovely first impression, with its sea view, pleasant scent, and macarons to welcome us. We've stayed in seven different five-star hotels in Istanbul, and this was the best. A big thanks to the professional valet team for such a good welcome and goodbye. We had a wonderful stay and would choose this first in Istanbul.

Breakfast was the standout for us. The team treated us like VIPs, remembered our names and preferences, and had our favorite drink waiting by the second morning. That kind of care really sticks with you. The rooms were very well equipped and in excellent condition, with nothing missing. Behind it all, the management seems to keep things running smoothly, with a team that works together and clearly cares about the job. From the front desk onward, requests were handled quickly and thoughtfully, and the welcome felt both warm and professional. The JW Marriott Marmara Sea Istanbul feels like much more than a luxury property. You’re treated as a guest, not a room number. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place where you can really arrive and settle in.

I've stayed at the Marriott Marmara Sea in Istanbul four times, and it still manages to wow me. I’m Titanium with Marriott and have stayed at properties all over the world, but not every hotel makes you feel your status is valued. Here, I got a proper upgrade, full lounge access, and breakfast included. The breakfast is among the best I've had at any Marriott, with a great spread, quality food, and real attention to detail. Everyone from the front desk to the lounge team was warm and effortlessly professional. Their service felt consistent, thoughtful, and smooth, and you can tell they care. Some Marriott hotels in the States could learn from this management team about looking after guests and recognizing loyalty. They keep raising the bar, and I'll definitely be back.
