Cemed House

The rooms were filthy when we arrived, and there was hair and saliva in the bathroom, dead bugs on the floor, broken door handles, awful beds, and a shower that barely drained. We couldn't sleep for two nights and couldn't stay there. The building was empty; the woman didn't greet us, just told us where the keys were. She came to collect the fee a few hours later, not when we'd been told she'd come. When we showed her the room, she said we couldn't find another place at that time instead of apologizing or offering help, then took our money. With nowhere else available, we had to clean the room ourselves on the eve of the holiday, and we couldn't stomach the conditions. They claim it's a family business, but no one sticks around, they just collect the fee and disappear. This left us helpless and humiliated after paying. The money we spent feels haram.

I gave it a high rating just to make sure this review shows up. This is the most disgraceful place we've ever seen. The rooms were filthy, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, with hair and saliva everywhere. Door handles were broken, the beds wouldn't close, the shower didn't drain right, and there were dead insects on the floor. We bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves, but couldn't stomach it. It's supposedly a family business run by women. We called the woman about the awful room; she didn't bother to come, and after they had broken and spilled things around the place, she just said, "What am I supposed to do?" The money we paid is haram. Not worth even 1 lira. Don't choose it.

Run-down, dirty place with no service. We only saw the manager when we arrived, when she took the payment and handed us two shabby towels. They were never changed during our four-day stay, from June 16, 2023 to June 20, 2023. Nobody seemed to be around, and they wouldn't even answer the phone when we needed something. We also lost the deposit we'd sent by money transfer. She said it hadn't arrived, but after we got back to Italy, we were told the deposit for one night's stay had been collected. In practice, they charged us for another night. The comforts listed on the website weren't there, and they didn't even provide Wi-Fi. I advise people to avoid this place. Better to sleep under a bridge.

A pleasant, spacious guesthouse surrounded by greenery and plants, with a natural feel. You can relax there as if you were at home. People looking for faults should first rein in their egos and endless demands.
