Kamil Bey Suites Hotel

Kamilbey Suites made us feel at home, from the hotel through to the restaurant. Everyone was welcoming, kind and helpful, and communicating in English was no problem at all. Our room was modern and clean. We knew about the street noise, so we brought earplugs. Perfect stay.

Breakfast had little variety, mostly bread and sauces, and I found it bland and repetitive. The room was also hard to sleep in at first because a bar right outside the windows made a lot of noise and the soundproofing was poor. After we complained, they moved us to a quieter room. Housekeeping was awkward too: the cleaner usually came just after breakfast, and if we were still there, the room wouldn't be cleaned that day. There were no signs to ask for privacy or cleaning. The comfort and service fell short of what I expected.

Our room was ready even though we arrived well before check-in, and it had the balcony and view we asked for. It was spotless, with comfortable mattresses and a great bathroom, and they cleaned it every two days. We had booked another room but accepted an upgrade for an extra charge. The staff were friendly, though their English wasn't very strong. When we asked them to call an airport taxi, we were charged 1,700 lira despite an elevator sign showing 1,400. The taxi we took ourselves from the airport on arrival had cost only 900. The location makes it easy to get around the tourist spots, though shops and venues nearby can be noisy at night.

Ahmet looked after us really well, and the staff were so friendly. The hotel is in a great spot too. Thanks to everyone!
