The food court was a highlight for me, with Turkish favorites alongside international food and fair prices for a mall. It was clean and had a lively feel, too. I also had a lot of fun at the Harry Potter shop (Wizarding World Shop by Sihir Dükkanı). There are interesting displays and plenty of unusual items, so it’s more than just a place to shop. Mall of Istanbul is worth visiting for both.

I had a really pleasant time wandering around this place on my first mall visit in Istanbul. It’s huge, both in its width and across its several floors, with everything from clothes, jewelry, makeup and sports shops to restaurants, a supermarket and a food court. Some restaurants along the outside open before the mall itself, which is handy if you arrive early.

There’s plenty of room to spend a few hours here, whether you’re with family or on your own. The mall feels clean and airy, and it’s newly built with all kinds of modern facilities. My main frustration was finding my way around. There isn’t enough technology to search for a place, and getting help from someone can be difficult.

The children’s playhouse lets you leave the kids safely while you shop, which makes a difference. There’s a good mix of well-known brands, plus lots of things you might need in one place. I found the restaurants and cafes varied and high quality, and they’re a nice place to unwind after shopping. It’s easy to reach, though a little outside the city center.

I’d come back for the food court alone. It’s clean, organized and convenient, with everything from fast food to international dishes, whether you want a quick bite or a relaxed meal with family or friends. The rest of the mall has a solid spread of shops, including fashion, electronics and home goods. Parking was easy for me, but weekends can get crowded. It’s also a bit far from Istanbul’s historic areas. Still, there’s plenty here for shopping and eating.
