Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul Bosphorus

I was here recovering from surgery, and Isa’s thoughtful housekeeping made a huge difference. He kept my room fresh and tidy, carefully cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, changing the sheets, and replacing anything that was running low. The breakfast team were lovely too. Ines and Ismail were especially helpful and patient with my very particular husband, making sure his requests were taken care of. Serkan also kindly came by every morning to refill the water bottles. The hotel is clean, nice, and well located. It works well for families, couples, or business meetings, and I’ll definitely stay again.

I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well run the venue was. The staff were polite, professional, kind, and attentive, which made the atmosphere feel welcoming. I attended a real estate meeting here and could see the care they put into high standards and efficient service. I’d confidently recommend it for meetings, conferences, and fairs.

My room was unbearably hot for my entire stay because the air conditioning didn’t work, so I couldn’t rest properly. The housekeeping team didn’t understand basic English, which made simple requests frustrating. The room had almost no amenities, and when I called for basic items, I had to ask repeatedly and wait at least 15-20 minutes each time. I also registered a complaint directly with the Assistant General Manager, but nothing was done. The management felt extremely poor and unprofessional, and the lack of regard for guests was unacceptable for a hotel of this claimed standard. My stay at Mövenpick Hotel Bosphorus Istanbul was a complete waste of money. Big no. There are much better Istanbul hotels with real value and professional service. I strongly advise people to avoid staying here if they don’t want frustration instead of comfort.

Everyone, from the front desk to the service staff, was friendly during our 12-hour visit. At check-in, one staff member pointed out the nearby mosque, and when we left, Eyup helped us find a taxi. He was so friendly and had a warm smile. I miscalculated the Lira-to-dollar conversion, though, and wish I could’ve tipped him more. Eyup, this is the best review I can give. Thank you!
