Centro Westside by Rotana Hotel

The rooms are quite worn and need updating, and the location is remote, with little within a comfortable walk. On the plus side, security was good, the lobby was pleasant, and the service was great. People were lovely, and breakfast was free with a good selection. The price was low, so it's a trade-off between those advantages and the location and tired rooms.

The pool and sauna made our trip so much better, and the restaurant had everything we needed at good prices. Breakfast was great too. The rooms they gave us were exceptional, and the staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. I loved both Istanbul and this hotel. It's one of the best experiences of my life, and I'd definitely return to the same place. It deserves more than five stars.

Even basic requests were handled badly. I asked for an ice bucket and got ice in a thin plastic bag, which melted all over the room. Supplies weren't replenished unless I kept asking. When I called about the dirty cups, empty bottles, and ashtrays that had sat untouched for hours, they said housekeeping had already left and nobody could come back. Orders took more than an hour every time. The furniture and decor were very old and damaged, and even the couch was torn with its sponge showing. The room felt neglected, and the whole stay was far below hotel standards. I wouldn't stay here again.

A big thank you to Seren for being so professional, attentive, and kind. Her warm manner made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, service was smooth, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I had a wonderful visit and have just checked out. I'll be back and would recommend the hotel to others.
