The street was extremely noisy all night, and smells from the restaurants and hookah lounge downstairs came upstairs. It feels more like a house above businesses than a proper hotel. In the morning I found many ants 🐜 near the restroom, which was unacceptable. I booked one night based on the pictures, but the room was dirty and poorly maintained. The jacuzzi leaked and couldn’t be used, the shower sink was blocked, and the water was cold. A very bad experience in Istanbul. Think twice before booking.

Great value for money. The location is awesome, close to all transportation, with lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel Owner, Mr. Bekye, is very friendly and helpful.

Mr. Fikret made our visit much easier. He looked after our needs, suggested restaurants, and arranged an airport transfer. His warmth and professionalism showed how much he cared about making the stay special. Mas Suites Hotel in Karaköy was a pleasure to stay at from October 30th to November 6th, 2024. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a luxurious Jacuzzi and thoughtful details that made it feel like home. The hotel is right in the heart of Karaköy, on a lively street, with cafes, shops, and local attractions just steps away. We also enjoyed the bar downstairs and its excellent food. It was convenient to order meals, drinks, and even shisha to our room, and the in-room dining was excellent. I’d highly recommend Mas Suites Hotel in Karaköy for its comfortable rooms, great service, and location.

The noise was awful. The hotel is above a bar that played really loud music day and night, and there’s no sound insulation, so it felt like trying to sleep in a nightclub. Worse, on the second day we came back to rest in the afternoon and found the hotel manager sleeping in our bed. He’d left all his things in our room and was drinking our water. The only explanation we got was “they thought we left.” There was no refund. If you’re wondering why the Booking.com reviews are so good, when you complain they tell Booking you didn’t show, so you can’t leave your review. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. There are much better and cheaper places in Istanbul.

There’s plenty going on downstairs, from restaurants and food carts to a grocery store and dessert spots. The hookah lounge makes the place lively, which I really enjoyed. Galata Tower, Taksim, and the train are all within walking distance, too. The staff were so welcoming. Talha made sure we were comfortable, and the woman working there was lovely and kept our room clean and supplied with water. I’d recommend this place to family and friends 🥰
