I hadn’t planned on staying here, but another booking was canceled at the last minute, thanks Expedia! Finding Hotel my Dora by chance turned out to be a lovely surprise. It’s central in the Asian side of Istanbul, and I’d highly recommend it. Thanks to the lovely team. Kadikoy’s ferry terminals and metro are right nearby, but the hotel is tucked away on a quiet side road. The newly renovated rooms are bright and clean, with lovely attention to detail. The bathroom is bright too, with plenty of space to shower comfortably. Everyone I met was excellent to deal with, especially Mr. Sinan at reception, who was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet had cheeses, breads, hot eggs, borek, and sausage, plus cappuccino and Turkish coffee made fresh on request. Cetin and Melissa looked after us throughout breakfast and kept the room and buffet in great shape. The rooftop terrace is lovely for a partial sea view or a smoke.

We’d had trouble sleeping at a nearby hotel because of street and neighbor noise. Here, it was really quiet inside the room, so we could rest well. The location is good, the rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was good too.

Kadıköy is my favorite part of Istanbul, and this hotel made it easy to get out and enjoy the area on foot. My stay at My Dora Hotel was pleasant. The staff are very kind, the hotel is quiet, and it’s right next to transport.

The hotel I’d booked had gone out of business, and I only found out when I arrived. I needed another place at 5am, so I’m very glad I found Dora hotel and stayed there. The room was clean, the staff were accommodating, and breakfast was great. It’s in an awesome spot, a two-minute walk from the Havaist bus terminal. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

We were only there for one night, but the reception staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel is close to Kadikoy’s metro and ferry terminals, and despite being central, it was quiet at night. I’d highly recommend it.
