Oran Hotel

The location made getting around easy, with the metro, shops, and restaurants close by. The hotel itself was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Reception handled our requests well, and Mr. Farhad helped with booking and offered a good price. His backup receptionist and the assistants were helpful too. I appreciated being able to speak English and Arabic with them. Room service was very good, and the breakfast team were lovely. I especially appreciated Layla hanim, Firat, and the chef, who kept an eye on everything. Breakfast did get repetitive, though, and I missed soup and the extra snacks you might find at a 4-star hotel. That was the one thing I’d suggest improving. I’d recommend staying here for an easy, pleasant holiday.

The location is ideal, with public transport and some sights nearby. For a short stay, it’s a decent old-fashioned 4-star hotel. The breakfast was good, and I understand the older style given the historic area and its hardware limitations. The toilet was the big problem for me. It’s so cramped that you can’t sit straight, and have to brace yourself on the sink or wall. If you’re not slender, you’re squeezed between the sink, toilet, and wall. There’s only mechanical ventilation too, so shower steam and toilet smells spread through the room. Aside from that, it’s still an okay place for a short stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently placed for exploring Istanbul, close to the main attractions. Reception made a great impression, especially Ayop, who was kind and gave excellent service. I had a wonderful stay at Oran Hotel Istanbul and would highly recommend it.

The birthday surprise for my son meant a lot to our family. The management arranged a pastry and a heartfelt letter, and he was so happy and emotional. We’ll remember that for a long time. It captures how cared for we felt at Oran Hotel. The reception team welcomed us warmly from the start, especially Ghanem and Abdullah, who were kind and professional. Room service was reliable and attentive, and breakfast was a pleasure each morning with such welcoming, smiling staff. The hotel was spotless, well kept, and in a great location. Oran Hotel is the best for me, and I won’t choose another. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
