Orange Airport Hotel

We were staying in the heart of the local community, which suited our reason for coming, and there was plenty of affordable street food to try. The hotel was fair for the price, but housekeeping wasn’t daily. On two occasions we had to ask for clean rooms and fresh towels. I also asked twice for toilet roll to be replaced, then bought some myself on day 3. The drains smelled funky, and the sink leak was fixed after I mentioned it. The heating was running full blast 24/7. I tried to make the most of the experience and enjoy my time there, but by day 8 I was ready to go home.

The staff were exceptionally kind, polite, and helpful, and the location is handy for restaurants and markets. With prices in Turkey so high, this is a good-value option for spending a few days. I recommend it.

The location is fantastic, and the price is reasonable, but spending a couple hundred more could get you a better hotel nearby. If you book here, pay at the property so you can choose or bargain. If you pay in advance, they may try to put you in room 201 and say nothing else is available. Keep that room in mind and don’t accept it. It gets no daylight because other buildings block it, it’s very hot, and you need the lights on around the clock or it’s completely dark. I had to leave the windows open at night to sleep. I asked them to turn off the heating, and they said they had, but it didn’t work. The reception staff were polite, but they didn’t follow through on what they said they’d do. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, like sleeping on a brick wall, and the tiny bathroom wasn’t clean.

I had a terrible stay and won’t recommend this hotel. The room looked worse than its pictures, the bed was uncomfortable, and I struggled to sleep. The bathroom was in poor condition. Staff service was disappointing too. Whenever I had a question or problem, I was met with indifference, and they didn’t seem willing to help or address anything. They showed little concern for my needs or comfort, which made spending my time and money here a real disappointment.
