The economy rooms on the first floor are extremely small, so bear that in mind when booking. Also, taxis can’t reach that street until after 6 PM. The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean and hygienic. There was breakfast, though we missed it because we were running late. The street has plenty of restaurants and shops, and the bazaar, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Spice Bazaar, and Eminönü are about 500 meters away, with Taksim a little farther on. Hope that helps.

The airport transfers in both directions were arranged really smoothly, which made arriving and leaving easy. We also found breakfast good, and the main sights are close by, so it was simple to get around. The staff were lovely, always available and happy to help with questions or suggest places to see. We had a great stay at Primero Hotel and would happily come back. Definitely recommend it.

The room had a lovely view and stayed tidy and clean throughout our 11 days. Coffee, tea, linens, and the other supplies were always replenished. The breakfast had a great range of flavors, with something for everyone, and the whole hotel was consistently clean. Staff were so kind and happy to share useful information. They also helped arrange taxis to and from the airport. The central location made it easy to get to lovely places. This hotel made our holiday special, and we’d love to return soon, maybe to the same room. The friendly team deserves extra stars. Thank you so much.

There’s a chubby cat at the main reception, so keep an eye out for it. We had a nice surprise for my wife’s birthday too: a small cake with a personal note in our native language. She wanted to try local beer, and the hotel brought some promptly, then wouldn’t accept payment the next morning. Thanks to Mr. Ali at reception and the bellboy for looking after us. The hotel is central, close to the Grand Bazaar and the Mosques, though there’s a bit of a slope to climb, which isn’t much by Istanbul standards. The tram stop is accessible. Basic facilities are available, and they arrange local tours and taxis at very reasonable rates. The place was clean, and our room looked just like the photos.

The price seemed fair for what we got, and the employees were friendly and accommodating. Our basement family room was a little cramped for four. It did have windows, but opening them for fresh air brought in the noise, and Istanbul carries on all night. Breakfast was just okay, with quite a few fruit flies around the buffet, which put me off. The stay was neither great nor terrible. Keep in mind the online photos are several years old, and the rooms and furniture have picked up some wear since they were taken.
