We loved staying at Mehmet Bey Suites. Our family of four had plenty of room to unpack and spread out, and the apartment was fantastic. The neighborhood is pleasant and a little away from the tourist track, with a good-sized supermarket just up the road for anything extra. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the views were amazing. Sitting with a cup of tea to watch the sunrise over Istanbul was a treat. The staff helped us make the most of the city and arranged good airport transfers. We enjoy walking and exploring, and the location worked well for that, as well as for catching the metro to go farther out. A great base for exploring Istanbul.

The apartment was clean and perfectly located. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great.

Breakfast was good, and it was served at Fehmi Bey Hotel, just a couple of yards away, which is run by the same owner. We had a wonderful two-night stay. The balcony had an awesome view of the Bosporus, and a big Tree Philodendron in the TV lounge gave the place a really nice fragrance. The downsides were that there’s no elevator and one room didn’t have AC. The management provided us with a portable fan and a cooler.

The apartment was so bad that we ended up going to a hotel instead. The photos make it look great, but the kitchen was dirty and full of cheap stuff, and the bathroom was really nasty. The apartments are two streets away from the hotel, and there’s no elevator. The stairs are narrow and steep, and get even narrower and steeper as you go up.

The service was wonderful, and the apartment had plenty of space. My family and I were delighted with it. The view from the apartment and the location were great too.
