A lovely area, with local amenities nearby. The hotel was excellent, and the welcome was warm and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was okay, but the reception woman was very rude. She didn't help us with checkout and charged us extra money. We weren't given extra slippers, and the smoke smell bothered us. There was nobody to help with our suitcases, so we carried them ourselves up to the fourth floor. There's no elevator, and the breakfast was very poor. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

The bed was wide and nice to sleep in, the linen was clean, and they provided a warm blanket. There’s also a small fridge in the room, though no drinks or bar, just one bottle of water at check-in. But the pillow wasn’t comfortable, the slippers were uncomfortable, and there was no small towel for stepping out of the shower. The hair dryer only works while you keep your finger on its button. The TV remote was unreliable, especially for turning the volume down, and there were only Turkish channels, nothing in English or Russian. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting every five minutes, so I had to reconnect constantly. There was no information in the room about hotel services. The location is convenient: Ulubatly metro and the T1 tram to the main Old City sights are each about a five-minute walk away. Rooms were clean, and the price is a plus. That’s about all I liked. This is a four-floor hotel with no elevator. Breakfast was very, very limited. No coffee, soup, or fruit, just tea, bread, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, a few kinds of cheese, olives, and some jams. When I asked where the coffee was, nobody answered. I thought every hotel would have coffee for guests. There’s a basketball court right in front of the main entrance, and the children playing there are very loud. I had asked for no cleaning, but someone still came into my room: I’d locked the door with two turns, and afterward it was locked with one. That didn’t feel right. There was no paper seal on the bathroom fixtures, so I couldn’t tell if they’d been cleaned properly. Better to find somewhere else.

For getting around, the hotel is well placed, with metro, bus, and tram stations close by. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was mediocre. As a two-star hotel, it’s okay.
