We only stayed about five minutes. There was a strong mold smell as soon as we walked in, and the cleanliness was terrible; the furniture also looked very worn. The welcome itself was nice, but we had to cancel and didn’t get a refund. I guess that’s the price of the experience. You can find much better options nearby for the same price. If you’re not looking for a cozy home, this place is for you. Enjoy your holiday!

Patika Suites showed us a room they didn’t actually have, then tried to charge us more for an even worse room. We booked through Expedia, and they didn’t help us get back what we paid for five nights. It was a huge disappointment, and we’ll never book through Expedia again.

The street stayed quiet, with only cats and birds for company. We were on the third floor in May, and the apartment was clean, roomy, and good value. Shops and cafes keep the area lively, and Eryilmaz Brothers, supposedly Istanbul’s best bakery, is nearby. We walked everywhere, even to Grand Bazaar. The hills are part of the deal here, so expect a workout.

We had a great stay, and the place lived up to the good reviews. The apartment was spacious, the staff were great, and the location worked really well. It’s very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal St.

The photos feel like advertising and don’t match what the suite is actually like. Getting around is difficult because the area is downhill, and nobody seems accountable. I wouldn’t recommend it.
