Arts Taksim Hotel

The location is good, but that’s about it. It was noisy enough that we could hear people talking in the next rooms and even toilet sounds. Street noise came through too. Cleaning was poor, with things on the floor left there by the cleaners. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and the gym was bad and smelled damp.

I stayed for a week and felt like I was with close friends. They treat guests like family, and whenever I asked for something, it was taken care of right away with a smile. The service was exceptional. There was a different breakfast menu each day, and everything tasted great. I loved the SPA too, it was a great way to relax after long walks around Istanbul. I really love this place and highly recommend it.

The location near taksim square was good, and everything felt close during my four-day stay. But twice, I found a woman cleaning in my room without permission or a clean sign. The first time I woke up and she was there; the next day I was in the shower when it happened again. It really bothered me. I told reception and they only apologized for the inconvenience. If you stay here, I recommend keeping the Don't Disturb button on all the time, or someone may walk in while you’re undressed or doing something else.

The room was spacious, renovated, clean, and modern, with a large comfortable bed. The location was very good too. On the downside, the reception staff were rude, breakfast was poor, noise came from neighboring rooms, and the Wi-Fi was weak. I stayed here last year as well, and the service has dropped a lot since then. I had to call reception five times just to get a bottle of water. I won’t choose it again. This visit was in November 2025.
