It's handy for exploring: right in the city center and close to lots of tourist spots, with very friendly and helpful staff. But the popular area gets noisy in the evenings, and whenever we opened the window a strong air-pollution-like smell came in. The window also wouldn't lock properly, which worried me. Convenient, but not great if noise or air quality bothers you.

Room 501 was spacious and comfortable, with simple furnishings. It had a kettle, tea, instant coffee and a fridge, and the bathroom was clean with liquid soap, shower gel and a hairdryer. The staff were really friendly and even offered us jelly beans. Loved the old TV series too :D. The street noise was pretty bad, so we'd suggest earplugs, which we use ourselves. Polonya selam söylüyor :-) The location is very good.

The apartment on the sixth floor was clean and comfortable, with a view of the Bosphorus Strait. The receptionist was nice and willing to help. It's in a superb spot, just steps from Tophane and Istikal, with Galata Bridge and Karakoy pier easy to reach. The only downside was the street noise. The windows don't seal very well, but earplugs solved the problem.

The room and staff were great, and the price was very affordable for what you get. If you want to explore the whole city on foot, it's hard to pick a better location.

The walls and door were paper thin, and we could hear our neighbors' conversations, late-night laughter, and even their mid-day bedroom activities. That's what made the stay a negative one, especially with the location being so good. It was easy to walk to public transit and several points of interest, and the reception staff were incredibly hospitable, welcoming and friendly. The room was rather small, probably under 200 square feet, but enough to sleep and shower. It had a king-sized bed with clean linens, working AC, a TV, hair dryer, mini fridge with freezer, hot water kettle and instant tea and coffee. There wasn't a closet or any hangers, just a small shelving rack. The bathroom was small too. The shampoo container had only enough for one use, but reception quickly refilled it when we asked. Toilet paper ran out on the first day, and they promptly brought more. We didn't ask about daily housekeeping, so I don't know whether that was available. The TV remote battery was also dead. I can't fault the staff, who were so kind and welcoming. I just wish the noise hadn't made the experience so negative.
