Ayyildizlar Hotel

I spent a week here and would happily return. The staff were kind, and the location in Kadikoy felt safe and put everything we needed nearby. It was also a great price for the quality. They don't provide room service during your stay, so you can leave your things without worrying. I'd recommend it to friends.

There was a fridge and TV in the room, and they provided towels. The room itself was fairly clean. The bathroom worked, though it could have been much cleaner. The taps and shower controls weren't well calibrated, and the bath door was rusty, but both still worked. The location can be a little tricky because there are bars nearby, so music and noise carry on late into the night. The staff were nice, especially the woman at the front desk. They don't speak English, but Google Translate made communication easy. I had a really good experience overall.

The staff came across as unwelcoming and unprofessional, which left me with a poor impression of the service. I expected a higher standard from the description. The room also had visible dirt and didn't seem hygienic, and there were bugs that made it uncomfortable. I hope management takes the cleanliness and staff behavior seriously so future guests have a better stay.

We were in Istanbul for a one-night stopover and this hotel in Kadikoy suited what we needed. The accommodation was affordable and the location worked well for us.
