Hotel Petra

The staff's warmth really made our stay special. They were always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well looked after, and the location made exploring the area easy. We had a wonderful time here.

The rooms were spacious, and Ismael deserves a special mention. As our host, he gave Ritz quality service, and I've stayed at the Ritz. If you want a hotel stay without any troubles, this is the one to go to.

The staff were friendly, and check-in was painless, just five seconds to get the key when I'd paid online. I was glad to have a tidy room, and for what you pay, it was good enough. Street parking was available too. The rooms are a bit basic, though, and the corridors feel shady, more like an unfinished commercial building than a hotel. Some details inside the room also seemed unfinished. Still, it's a nice option when you arrive at the airport late, since it's right by the airport.

The stay was okay overall, aside from one unpleasant incident in the morning. We were waiting for friends outside the hotel with coffee, ayran and a pretzel when a staff member came out and told us, quite rudely, that we couldn't eat there because it wasn't a restaurant. Maybe it was a language barrier, but I felt offended and shooed away. The rooms were large, clean and freshly renovated. We knew the sofa in the triple room would fit one child, but still had to ask for pillows and sheets because they weren't there. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo but no hand soap. Street traffic was audible in the morning, though manageable for a one-night stay. Most of the staff were kind and helpful; it was just that small morning incident.
