Paprika was a great fit for me as a budget backpacker, a simple hostel with a comfortable bed and a great location. The owner was super kind and full of useful information. When a nearby store sold me a faulty SIM card and acted like they couldn’t understand my English, he helped by talking to them. I stayed here while travelling through Turkey.

I stayed there a few years ago and remember it as a really nice place. The owner was nice too. The building had an old-fashioned style and a beautiful ceiling, and it made me feel like I was in a 19th-century Ottoman house.

The owner’s friendly and cool, and it’s a really nice spot if you don’t need much. The downside for me was the lack of privacy. There are no curtains or anything between the beds, and you never know who else might be staying there.
