Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul City Center Hotel

The location was the main reason I booked, and it really is the hotel's strongest point. My first room was cramped, dim, smelled stale, and fell short on cleanliness and comfort. The building feels dated, the shower pressure was low, and the hot water came and went. When I first complained, I was offered an upgrade at extra cost, which was disappointing. After I spoke with management, they heard me out and moved me to another room for the rest of the stay. The manager also offered breakfast at no charge and arranged extra attention from housekeeping. I appreciated that effort, and it improved my impression, though the hotel still needs work on upkeep, cleanliness, and room quality.

Aynur made breakfast feel especially personal. She kindly offered to prepare the hot chocolate and scrambled eggs I like, then checked whether I was all right or needed anything else. I travel often, and that level of attention was among the best I've had at a hotel, maybe the best. Our room was clean and pleasant, with water provided each day, and the room cleaner and reception staff were all polite. Breakfast is included. The tram stop at Aksaray on the blue line is very close, which made getting around easy. We had a lovely time in Istanbul. Five stars for Ramada and Aynur, and thanks to everyone. I hope I find an Aynur at every hotel.

We were treated so well during our five nights at the start of May 2026, me, my parents, and my sister. The pool under its glass roof was more than adequate, and I believe the roof can open in summer. The sauna, steam room, and gym were all 10/10. The gym was especially modern and well equipped, enough to make me wonder whether locals can get memberships. Food at the restaurant was very good, while the Bistro outside, served by the hotel kitchen, felt like a hidden gem. Breakfast was amazing too, and there’s a 24-hour Starbucks in reception. The hotel and staff were wonderful, with Sezgin U at reception looking after us and Gulbeyaz P keeping the rooms in great shape. Osmanbey Metro is right opposite, and the tourist areas farther south are just a few stops away. For the price, it’s hard to beat. I’d gladly come back.

Mr. Ece Yildz, the assistant revenue manager, arranged a complimentary upgrade, which made an already comfortable stay even more memorable. I really appreciated the staff's professionalism, attention to detail, and warm welcome. Many thanks to the Ramada Plaza team for looking after me so well. I hope to visit again soon.
