Rayelin Hotel Taksim

Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, healthy, clean, and varied, with a delicious Arabic food section by Chef Shaheen. The hotel is stylish, modern, clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere. Its location right by the metro and close to Istiklal Street made getting around easy. Rashad was especially helpful with our bags and gave us great city recommendations. Check-in service could improve, as some staff weren’t very welcoming or helpful when we asked for assistance. Housekeeping also needs to be more consistent. We had to request fresh towels and sheet changes. Still, we had a nice stay and really liked the location, design, and breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything about our stay was excellent. Resat deserves special thanks for his kindness, professionalism, and great service. He made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Rayelin Hotel Taksim in Istanbul from Friday, March 20th to Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. The hotel made a very positive first impression, with thoughtful architectural details, quality materials, and a refined look from the entrance through to the rooms. The room had a very comfortable bed, well-designed lighting, and a pleasant temperature without needing air conditioning. The decor also felt high quality. We appreciated the spacious, well-designed reception and breakfast areas, as well as the indoor pool, about 15 meters long, sauna, and gym. When we arrived late Friday night, around 11:00 PM, a receptionist and a groom welcomed us and explained the opening hours for the pool, gym, café, and breakfast. They offered to arrange outside food orders or a taxi to help keep us safe and avoid potential scams. We asked the groom to order two pizzas from a nearby restaurant, and he brought them to our room for 2,600 Turkish lira, about €52, which felt significantly overpriced. We reported this to reception the next day. The manager listened carefully, discussed it internally, and refunded 50% of the amount. We appreciated his response and considered the issue resolved. The rest of the stay was generally smooth, though staffing seemed to be the hotel's main weakness. Gym and spa staff often ate breakfast right at the entrance, which didn’t look professional. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and sometimes towels, water, or even toilet paper were missing. When we contacted reception, though, they responded immediately and efficiently. With more consistent service and better staff training, the hotel could reach a much higher level. The foundation and overall concept are already very good.

This brand-new hotel was spotless throughout, with a modern look and thoughtful details that made us comfortable from the start. What really stood out was the staff, everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Service was prompt and professional while still feeling warm and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety and high-quality options. We especially liked the open kitchen, where guests could ask for something extra to be made fresh on the spot. It’s a small touch that shows care. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
