The shower barely worked properly, and a strong bad smell came from its drain. The photos don’t look much like the place in reality. We were charged $70 when booking, even though you might think it costs $43 a night. There are much better places nearby, so don’t waste your time or money. They turned off the heater in the cold because of possible gas leaks, and my wife was freezing. The front desk kept looking for chances to sell tours or other things. They also claimed it was 30 minutes from the airport, but it’s an hour away.

We booked two rooms for four people, and both the rooms and breakfast were great. Everything was clean and fresh looking, and the service was good. I misplaced my passport bag while rushing to get settled in the room, and the staff were very cooperative in helping me look for it. They also gave me a balcony room, which was fabulous. The Blue Mosque is just a 5 to 7 minute walk, so you can pray Fajr there. Thank you for hosting us. One request for management: please add a toaster for breakfast, since I prefer toast.

The bathroom was spotless and in perfect condition, and the hotel is very close to all the main places to visit. The rooms are decent and have proper heating, though they feel old fashioned and a bit run down.

Friendly staff and a breakfast area with a great view over the city. Shops and restaurants are all around, and the mosques, bazaars, and other Istanbul attractions are within walking distance.
